Java Engineer (Middle) Id28950
What you will do
- Be hands-on in architecting and implementing backend solutions from a given set of requirements as an individual contributor;
- Create technical work plans and execute on those plans to accomplish backend objectives;
- Contribute to Wordly’s engineering processes and culture to maintain a cooperative and supportive environment for all;
Must haves
- +3 years of experience working as a Developer;
- Proficiency in Java ;
- Proficiency in Springboot, Micronaut or similar inversion-of-control + dependency injection frameworks;
- Experience with microservices ;
- Experience with Unit Testing ;
- Ability to take direction from Senior engineers and work in conjunction with other engineers to accomplish objectives;
- Ability to independently design smaller software features;
- Comfortable working with a fully remote team;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Experience with Kotlin and/or Typescript - big plus;
- Experience with ExpressJS - big plus;
- Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ;
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited institution.
