Job Title: Senior Java Full Stack Application Developer
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Application Developer to join Agile development teams working on the digital transformation of a large public-sector organization. You will design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a Scrum environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
- Build modern frontend applications using Angular.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to application maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Follow best practices for code quality, testing, and software architecture.
Required Skills:
- Expert experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Angular, and Agile/Scrum.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, PostgreSQL, JUnit, Mockito, and Docker.
- Experience with Microservices, Bootstrap, MongoDB, TDD, and Keycloak.
- Knowledge of Kafka and RabbitMQ is an advantage.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
- Previous experience in the public sector is beneficial.
Language Requirement:
- Native-level French.
Work Arrangement:
- On-site position based in Brussels, Belgium.
