Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Microservices + Azure API Management (APIM) Onsite Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Java Microservices, Azure API Management, cloud-native application development, and client-facing delivery. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, offshore teams, architects, and project managers to ensure successful execution of integration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead onsite technical discussions with client stakeholders.
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Design scalable and secure Microservices-based architectures.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Lead Azure API Management (APIM) implementation, governance, and API lifecycle management.
- Design API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Azure AD, and API policies.
- Work closely with offshore development teams and provide technical guidance.
- Perform solution design reviews and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and performance best practices.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies.
- Coordinate deployments across development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Mentor junior developers and technical leads.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years in Java Microservices development.
- 4+ years of hands-on Azure API Management (APIM) experience.
- Experience working with Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of API governance and security.
- Experience designing enterprise integration solutions.
- Experience leading distributed onsite/offshore teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
