Backend Developer – Kubernetes
We are recruiting a highly skilled Backend developer with extensive experience in Kubernetes to work with global teams in Europe, Canada, and the US. The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and managing scalable and resilient backend services in containerized, cloud‑native environments as well as on‑premise customer environments. Candidates should have a solid foundation in backend development principles and hands‑on expertise in orchestrating microservices to ensure high availability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain code using Java and Python.
- Participate in code reviews and champion high‑quality coding standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Java development experience.
- 3+ years of Python development experience.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven track record of delivering software applications.
- Comfortable working with large language models beyond standard tools; experience making API calls to an LLM, understanding the agentic loop, and creating and using agents.
- Experience with MCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab Runner.
- Self‑motivated and able to work well in a team environment.
- Team player willing to coach junior members and collaborate on cross‑functional problem solving.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
