This is great opportunity for a JAVA SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to join a leading Fin Tech Engineering Company who are looking for a strong Software Engineer who wants to BECOME A RECOGNISED EXPERT IN APPLICATION SECURITY

Based in CAPE TOWN, this role offers a salary of R780 K – R840 K.

This is not a compliance role.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll spend your time building the platforms, tooling, automation and developer experiences that make secure software the default.

You'll work on projects such as:

Secure-by-default Java libraries used across multiple engineering teams Security automation pipelines Automated vulnerability remediation tooling Cloud-native security solutions

THE ENVIRONMENT: You'll join one of South Africa's most respected software engineering businesses, building enterprise-grade financial technology used by millions of South Africans every day.

THE ROLE REQUIRES a Software Engineer who has:

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code exposure Experience building, automating and integrating systems Curiosity around security and secure software development

You do not need to be an Application Security specialist already.

What matters is that you're a strong engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants to develop deep expertise in one of the fastest-growing areas of software engineering.
