A leading investment management firm is looking for an experienced Java Developer to build and enhance its core investment and trading technology platforms.
The Role
- Design and develop high-performance, highly available Java/Spring applications .
- Build scalable backend systems using microservices architecture .
- Develop and integrate REST APIs, gRPC services and event-driven systems .
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Build services supporting trading, accounts, fund transfers, authentication and digital asset workflows .
- Contribute to AI-enabled applications and process automation through backend services, APIs and data pipelines.
- Improve system performance, scalability and resilience while troubleshooting production issues.
Looking For
- 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience .
- Strong Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security and JPA/Hibernate .
- Experience building microservices and distributed systems .
- Strong knowledge of REST, gRPC, Kafka and Redis .
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL , SQL optimization and data modelling.
- Good understanding of high-concurrency, high-availability and fault-tolerant systems .
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Financial services / investment management experience is highly desirable.
