Senior Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our Developer Experience team, dedicated to enhancing developer productivity and streamlining workflows.
You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing backend solutions, integrating enterprise systems, and creating tools that empower engineering teams to deliver efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and integrations to optimize workflows and improve platform capabilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams and shared services to identify and resolve developer pain points
- Build integrations with enterprise systems such as Kafka, ServiceNow, and Snowflake
- Analyze developer workflows using metrics to identify areas of friction and recommend improvements
- Contribute to the evolution of a dynamic team environment, offering innovative ideas and adaptive solutions
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and refine processes
Requirements :
- At least 3+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles
- Strong experience in backend development with Java and Kotlin
- Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and middleware integrations
- Familiarity with Kafka, Snowflake, and ServiceNow or similar enterprise systems
- Capability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving environments with mínimal guidance
- Skills in collaborating across teams and conveying technical concepts effectively
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Exposure to frontend technologies such as ReactJS and TypeScript
- Familiarity with developer tooling platforms or internal shared services
- Understanding of observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog or Prometheus
