We are currently working with one of Australia’s leading financial institutions whose talented team of Engineers are consistently pushing boundaries. This is a chance for a Senior Java Engineer with experience in the development of monolithic and microservice architecture to work within the Digital team, responsible for the development of new offers and products for its customers. You'll be collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design and ship new features.

Base pay range

A$170,000.00/yr - A$210,000.00/yr

The Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the team owned product and platforms
• Knowledge in building scalable, maintainable and low latency web applications
• Collaborating with cross‑functional team

Your experience

• Minimum 6+ years experience in Java
• Java, Springboot, Spring Hibernate
• Experience working on projects from inception to production
• Ideally have experience in finance or banking
• Effective communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Able to effectively engage with senior members across the business.
