Senior Java Software Engineer

Overview

Java role, 6 months with possibility of conversion to full-time

Location: Sydney

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience on J2SE, J2EE
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Profound insight into Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc)

Qualifications

• Experience on Struts, SPRING, Hibernate, AngularJS, JSF & Web Services
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful
• Experience with Oracle
• Application servers like TomEE, WebSphere & Tomcat
