As a Senior Java Solution Architect, You Will:
- Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise-grade backend systems, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
- Design and develop scalable microservices-based solutions using Java 17+ and cloud-native architecture principles.
- Create high-level and detailed technical design artifacts, including architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, data models, and integration specifications.
- Lead architectural discussions and provide technical direction to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design secure, resilient, and highly available solutions incorporating fault tolerance, distributed caching, service discovery, and load balancing.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Security teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
- Define and implement API design standards, security controls, and integration patterns across multiple applications.
- Drive cloud adoption and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Establish best practices for CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, observability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
- Support event-driven architectures and integration strategies using messaging and streaming platforms.
- Provide technical leadership for complex projects and mentor development teams on architecture and engineering practices.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 6–8 years of experience in Java development, solution architecture, or backend engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+ and enterprise application development.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, and API lifecycle management.
- Experience with API security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and mTLS.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, resilience, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, and architectural modeling frameworks.
- Knowledge of messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka or Event Hubs.
- Familiarity with compliance, security, and governance requirements within regulated environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
