Job Title: Sr. Java Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, enhancement, and production support of enterprise-grade Java applications in mission-critical environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure application stability and high availability.
- Support and optimize legacy Java applications built on Java 8/17 and Spring Framework.
- Manage SSL/TLS security configurations, digital certificates, keystores, truststores, and troubleshoot secure communication issues.
- Develop, maintain, and support SOAP and RESTful web services while ensuring backward compatibility with legacy integrations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support batch processing environments, including job scheduling and execution.
- Execute and debug shell scripts, database procedures, and SQL queries to resolve production incidents.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning and stored procedure enhancements.
- Work closely with infrastructure, middleware, database, and application teams to ensure seamless application operations.
- Drive continuous improvements in application performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise application development and production support.
- Strong expertise in Java 8 and Java 17.
- Solid experience with Spring Framework and maintaining legacy Java applications.
- Deep understanding of SSL/TLS, certificates (Server, Client, CA), keystores, truststores, and SSL troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience with SOAP Web Services and REST APIs (JAX-RS/Jersey and modern REST frameworks).
- Strong knowledge of application integration, service design, and backward compatibility.
- Hands-on experience with production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and application monitoring.
- Experience supporting batch processing environments, job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, and troubleshooting production environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise financial or banking applications.
- Familiarity with application monitoring and performance tuning tools.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities with experience mentoring development and support teams.
