An enterprise financial services organization in Virginia is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Vienna. This role will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives through the full project lifecycle, with a focus on delivery, stakeholder coordination, and execution against business objectives.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale enterprise projects from planning through implementation and transition to operations
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies
- Partner with business leaders, technical teams, procurement, and vendors to define requirements and drive delivery
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide clear stakeholder communications and status reporting
- Manage vendor contracts, project documentation, quality assurance, and change control in alignment with organizational standards
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of enterprise project management experience leading large, complex cross-functional initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience managing project budgets, risks, resources, and vendor relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and influencing skills
Desired Skills:
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
- Experience supporting large financial services organizations
- Advanced degree in Business, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Experience with enterprise procurement, contract administration, and vendor management
- Knowledge of organizational governance, compliance, and change management practices
