Junior Java Developer

Java Developer - Junior 1 year experience. Hybrid remote : 2 days a week onsite in Dublin City Center. Duration: 12-month contract initially, with potential rollout for another 3 years. Key Deliverables Programming of Java components, with experience using industry-standard frameworks, e.g. Quarkus/Spring Boot. Coding in adherence to the standards of the application in question. Completing assigned tasks related to the phases of the development lifecycle of enterprise applications within the given scope and time frame requirements. Maintaining, tuning, and repairing applications to keep them performing according to technical and functional specifications. Performing preventive maintenance activities Providing user support. Developers must be able to work on every stage of the software development life cycle, from concept to design and testing. The role will entail a combination of both technical and business-related functions. Key Experience Microservice and API development (RESTful, experience of REST design and implementation). Understanding of API security protocols (OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect). Knowledge of Kubernetes, API managers, and WebLogic. Experience with OpenShift Container Platform, 3scale API, and KeyCloak. Testing frameworks and TDD (like Cucumber or Junit). Databases: Relational Oracle is preferred. Integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements. A demonstrated exposure to some or all of the following technologies: Java (Enterprise) Red Hat OpenShift, or similar; however, Red Hat OpenShift is preferred. Red Hat PAM, or similar; however, Red Hat PAM is preferred. Red Hat Single Sign-On, or similar; however, Red Hat SSO is preferred. Keycloak, or similar, with Red Hat Keycloak preferred Java Application servers, with WebLogic preferred TypeScript NodeJS RESTful APIs Git Relational Database, with Oracle preferred PL/SQL HTML CSS / SCSS SQL Developer UX/UI Development Message Broker Technologies Skills: Java Java Programming Junior Java Developer
