Heitmeyer Consulting is currently looking for a Lead Java Developer. Experience in application development who is fluent with modern version of Java and has used it in wide backend applications. Hands-on lead developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and modern software engineering practices. Experience with enterprise integration, event-driven architectures, Kafka, and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines. Strong experience in Spring Framework, Web services (REST/SOAP), Spring Boot / Micro Services with Angular. responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise APIs, microservices, integration solutions, and cloud-native applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable and reusable application services that integrate data and functionality across enterprise systems.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring MVC, J2EE, and Microservices architecture.
- Experience in Swagger, Maven, Eclipse, Jenkins, GIT, Postman/Newman.
- Experience with cloud technologies, AWS Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Maven and related DevOps tools.
- Experience working with technology teams to deliver business and technical solutions leveraging your skills with Java, Rest API, Fuse, Kafka and JSON
- Experience and proven understanding of DevOps, continuous integration, container-based applications, cloud deployment architectures.
- Need someone who can act as a lead and guide this team technically. Make architectural decisions and mentor
- Any Mainframe experience would be nice to have.
