Location: Chicago, IL (downtown)
Work Schedule: Hybrid, onsite every Tuesday and Wednesday, plus the first and third Thursday of each month
Contract Length: 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to one year
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Learning Strategy Program Coordinator to support employee mentoring programs and other learning and development initiatives. This role will provide daily project coordination, manage program communications and administrative activities, and track and analyze mentoring program metrics.
The ideal candidate has excellent follow-through, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present program data in clear, polished, and visually engaging formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily project support and coordination for employee mentoring programs.
- Assist with the design and deployment of mentoring programs for current and future employees.
- Collaborate with mentoring stakeholders across different areas of the organization.
- Monitor the mentoring platform and shared mentoring inbox daily.
- Facilitate mentoring program trainings, orientations, informational sessions, and quarterly data review meetings.
- Coordinate virtual trainings, orientations, and events, including preparing materials, scheduling communications, confirming attendance, and providing day-of support.
- Provide creative, interactive, and technical support for Microsoft Teams meetings and webinars.
- Maintain registration, attendance, and program records within the Learning Management System and mentoring platform.
- Track and analyze surveys, enrollment, participation, compliance, engagement, program effectiveness, and ROI.
- Create easy-to-read and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and presentations featuring mentoring metrics.
- Administer surveys and analyze results to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Create and distribute communications for mentoring programs, training sessions, and learning activities.
- Support shared email inboxes, Outlook calendars, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Research learning and development trends and identify new approaches to training.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Potentially develop and facilitate mentoring training content based on interest and workload capacity.
