Here’s what you need to know about this position:
THE WORK
- Turn ideas into production-ready AI/ML workflows, including data pipelines, model tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluation of large language models.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Data Engineering teams to integrate AI solutions that deliver meaningful impact for clinicians.
- Design experiments, analyze data, and develop prototypes that validate concepts and guide product decisions.
- Optimize and maintain AI workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability, including monitoring and reporting.
- Provide AI/ML expertise across teams, shaping the roadmap and ensuring large language model-driven features are effective and reliable.
- Mentor team members and promote best practices, continuous learning, and a culture of experimentation.
- Research and implement emerging ML tools and techniques to enhance product capabilities and improve clinical workflows.
NEEDED EXPERTISE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ML, with a proven track record of taking projects from prototype to production.
- Strong proficiency in Python, advanced data analysis, and building and maintaining AI/ML pipelines.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud platforms for model deployment; familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration is a plus.
- Skilled in designing and evaluating LLM-driven workflows, retrieval pipelines, vector databases, and human-in-the-loop evaluation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, cross-disciplinary thinking, and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- Bonus points for experience with retrieval-augmented generation architecture, prompt management tools, ML orchestration platforms, or experience in healthcare and regulated domains.
