Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, scanning, and processing incoming electronic devices and materials using RF scanners. You will load and unload trucks, move inventory throughout the facility using pallet jacks, and accurately pack and ship products to meet customer and production requirements. Additionally, you will unpackage, sort, and stage electronics for testing, repair, or refurbishment processes, assist with light assembly, device refurbishment, or cleaning, and operate or support testing equipment for consumer electronics when required.

Shift times: 6am-2:45

Swing shift 9am-5:45

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, scan, and process incoming electronic devices and materials using RF scanners.
  • Load and unload trucks; move inventory throughout the facility using pallet jacks.
  • Pack and ship products accurately to meet customer and production requirements.
  • Unpackage, sort, and stage electronics for testing, repair, or refurbishment processes.
  • Assist with light assembly, device refurbishment, or cleaning.
  • Operate or support testing equipment for consumer electronics when required.
  • Build boxes, label shipments, and prepare items for outbound distribution.
  • Maintain accurate inventory tracking and assist with cycle counts.
  • Follow strict quality, safety, and data-handling procedures.
  • Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in forklift operation and material handling.
  • Experience with inventory management, picking, and packing.
  • Ability to use RF scanners for receiving and processing materials.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks such as sorting, scanning, and packaging.
  • Capable of standing and moving for extended periods during shifts.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fenton, MO.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
