What you will do Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Implement data storage solutions using AWS services and Aurora Postgres (RDS). Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve our products and development processes. Must haves Proficiency in React.js and Node.js , with a deep understanding of their core principles and best practices. Experience with AWS services, particularly those relevant to web development and deployment. 3+ years of experience with SQL and Aurora Postgres (RDS) or Postgre SQL . Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Nice to haves Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries such as Angular or Vue.js . Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices. Understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing. Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools. Background in financial services or industry-specific knowledge related to Bloomberg Industry Group’s focus areas.
