Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development using PHP.
- Strong understanding of PHP frameworks, design patterns, object-oriented programming (OOP), and MVC architecture.
- Solid experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Proficiency in relational databases, database migrations, version control systems, and web services development.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, including product, design, QA, and engineering stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar productivity-enhancing technologies.
- Excellent English communication skills
Job responsibilities
- Lead the modernization of legacy codebases by implementing standardized frameworks and scalable backend architectures.
- Develop new features and functionalities while maintaining and enhancing existing client solutions.
- Support and improve long-term enterprise web applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in the design, architecture, and development of new modules, features, and system enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Provide regular project updates and contribute to effective cross-functional communication.
- Build, test, and deploy efficient, reusable, and maintainable software components.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex performance, scalability, and architectural challenges.
- Extend and optimize the functionality of existing platforms to meet evolving business requirements.
- Design and implement software architectures for critical products and strategic feature initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices, coding standards, and company development policies.
- Contribute to continuous integration and code quality processes to maintain high engineering standards.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools and workflows to improve team productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the engineering team.
