Software Engineer – Embedded Systems & Space Technology - Spain
We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join an international engineering environment and contribute across embedded platforms and Linux-based ground systems.
What you’ll work on
Develop embedded software using Zephyr RTOS and Yocto-based Embedded Linux
Build low-level drivers, middleware and applications for communication and satellite systems
Develop Linux applications supporting ground-based communication infrastructure
Create and maintain automated Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tests
Support board bring-up, debugging and performance optimization
Contribute to software architecture, CI/CD, testing and long-term maintainability
Provide technical support and guidance around system usage, APIs and troubleshooting
What we’re looking for
~5+ years of experience in embedded software development
~ Strong C/C++ and Python skills
~ Experience with Zephyr RTOS, Yocto and Linux development
~ Experience developing for ARM and/or x86
~ Solid understanding of Git workflows and automated testing
~ Experience with platforms such as Xilinx Zynq-7000, NXP i.MX RT, AVR32 or STM32
