Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Support Lead with strong experience in Java application support and AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting critical mid-tier applications, troubleshooting production issues, managing incidents, and ensuring application stability in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
The candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, hands‑on production support experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with development, infrastructure, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production support activities for mid-tier Java applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure-related production issues
- Monitor and manage AWS-hosted application environments
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and support teams for issue resolution
- Ensure SLA compliance and timely incident resolution
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measuresSupport deployment validation and environment monitoring activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for support processes and operational stability
- Participate in on‑call support and incident management activities
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Java application production support
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services
- Experience in incident management and production support processes
- Good understanding of application monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting enterprise or distributed applications
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar
- Exposure to middleware or mid-tier application environments
- Experience with ITIL support processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in application support and cloud environments
