Position Description: Provides analytical and advisory support to ARCENT headquarters by evaluating operational, logistical, personnel, and organizational programs across the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). Conducts research, data collection, trend analysis, and performance assessments to support senior leader decision-making. Develops metrics, dashboards, executive reports, briefings, and statistical analyses that measure mission effectiveness, readiness, operational performance, and resource utilization. Supports strategic initiatives, process improvement efforts, risk assessments, and cross-functional synchronization among ARCENT staff directorates. Assists with preparation of command-level briefings, information papers, and decision-support products supporting theater operations, contingency planning, and theater sustainment activities.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

The Program Analyst shall:

  • Provide analytical, advisory, and decision-support services to ARCENT leadership and staff directorates.
  • Conduct research, data collection, trend analysis, and program evaluations to assess mission effectiveness and organizational performance.
  • Develop metrics, dashboards, executive reports, briefings, and performance assessments supporting command decision-making.
  • Analyze operational, logistical, personnel, and resource data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives, operational assessments, readiness reporting, and theater sustainment activities.
  • Prepare command-level briefings, information papers, white papers, and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Monitor program performance and develop measures of effectiveness (MOEs) and measures of performance (MOPs).
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination and synchronization among ARCENT staff directorates and supported organizations.
  • Support contingency planning, operational planning, and organizational improvement initiatives.
  • Identify operational risks and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, readiness, and mission execution.
  • Maintain data repositories, reporting systems, and analytical tools supporting organizational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Army, DoD, and ARCENT policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an active Secret security clearance and perform additional duties as directed by ARCENT leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience: 8 Years

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Clearance: Secret
