Summary

This position is located at Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR), Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Regular Full-Time position with a minimum work week of 40 hours and eligible for benefits.

Duties
  • Serves as a Program Analyst providing subject matter expertise and recommendations to senior staff. Researches and develops policies and programs pertaining to specific programs. with emphasis on program planning and standards.
  • Assists with development of strategic program plans, assess program standards and procedures, analyzes for effectiveness, recommends appropriate changes and conducts actual execution for the designated program.
  • Develops program benchmarks for program operations. Performs comparative analyses, compares programs to best in the industry, and develops reports outlining areas in need of improvement.
  • Monitors and reviews financial and historical performance of the specific programs. Assists Director with development and tracking of input for the APF/NAF funding. Ensures sufficient internal control mechanisms are installed and in use.
  • Monitors Installation Status Reports (ISR) II process and Common Levels Support (CLS)/Service Based Costing (SBC). Performs other duties as assigned.

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following Knowledge of assigned programs, the roles they play in supporting total Army programs, and their contribution to Army MWR. Knowledge of principles, concepts and methodologies required perform various analytical techniques. Ability to analyze operations, financial data, prepare reports and replies to inquiries from the perspective of a n Installation or Regional staff officer. Strong written and oral communication skills, including comprehensive knowledge of standard office software programs, such as word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, etc.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Managerial experience of the caliber described above in any Recreation setting to include Financial operations for both APF and NAF business and financial issues.

Allowances and Differentials
  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
