Job Description:
As anintern assisting the IVLP program at Global Santa Fe, one’s responsibilitiesprimarily consist of helping to draft proposals for IVLP programs, doingoutreach and research to set up meetings with outside organizations, andoccasionally showing international visitors to and from their meetings. Theintern would not be expected to personally transport any visitors, as transportis provided by a logistics company. The outreach and research portion mostlyconsists of finding suitable organizations that are aligned with the goals of aspecific IVLP program, and then communicating via phone or email to set up asuitable meeting. Part of the internship includes weekly meetings with themanager of Global Santa Fe’s IVLP program to update them on the work that hasbeen done, as well as receive new tasks to complete for the following week.
