Deputy Program Manager

The Deputy Program Manager is responsible for supporting the performance of a program or multiple smaller programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Supports the coordination of multiple projects within a specific program to ensure alignment with organizational goals and successful execution.

Location: Stratford, ON

Salary: $82,000 - $95,000

Your Challenge:

  • Supports the development and management of program plans, including project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Ensures alignment with organizational strategies and objectives. (25%)

  • Defines, launches, and drives mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core programs. Resolves issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Escalates issues as needed. (25%)

  • Creates a method of change management including ownership of a documentation library, communication plans, process training, etc. (25%)

  • Supports program management tasks and develops standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting. (25%)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills

  • Fosters a collaborative work environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Possesses project management, negotiation, transaction structuring internal transaction, and strategic planning skills
