The Connecticut Department of Children and Families (CT DCF) depends on core, mission-critical applications, including CT-KIND and IV-E, Connecticut's Federally-reimbursed SACWIS (Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System). Used by over 2,000 social workers and case managers, the system requires continuous enhancements to comply with State and Federal legislation, good child welfare case practices, and the 1991 Juan F. Consent Decree.
The agency is heavily invested in developing the next generation Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) and requires robust technological support to ensure efficient tools for Child Welfare Staff, Providers, and the children and families of Connecticut.
II. Scope of WorkThe agency requires the services of a Senior-Level Full Stack Developer to participate in various SDLC processes, including requirements verification, design and development, testing, maintenance, and support activities. The specific focus will be supporting existing custom Salesforce applications, participating in the SDLC process of the new CT-KIND system, and working with the System Integrator to ensure knowledge transfer and ongoing maintenance.
