Project/Program Manager - Level 3
Location: Harford, CT
Duration: 6 Months
The Project Manager (PM) will work directly with DSS staff as well as third party/vendor to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
The incumbent should be familiar with a variety of the project management concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. Will report to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate resources for the delivery through the SDLC of a case management system using Salesforce platform
- Ensure that all project milestones and deliverables are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develop a project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniques
- Prepare reports for management and the stakeholders regarding the status of the project
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Communicate and provide notification of the schedule as it is developed and the impact
- Delegate project tasks to team members as needed
- Track project performance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and document processes as needed
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Salesforce experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
