Duration - 12 months contract with possible extension

Location - Nashville TN- Interim hybrid (1 day a week in office) then will increase then potential for full-time on-site Q1 2026.

C2C Rate - $85/Hr. On C2C

Job Description

Typical task breakdown:

  • Effectively translate a desired business outcome into an actionable, achievable, and team-aligned plan that delivers per expectations.
  • Oversee project processes and procedures, monitoring the productivity and performance of project team.
  • Managing all aspects of projects. Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of project.
  • Ensuring adherence to project methodologies and best practices.
  • Preparing and presenting program level reporting for stakeholders.

Interaction with team:

  • Working with other PMs and Project Teams within CAT financial

Work environment: Interim hybrid (1 day a week in office) then Starting in September the number of days in office will increase then potential for full-time on-site

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with minimum 5 year exp in a PM capacity and 10 years in an IT environment.
  • No bachelor's, they will need at least 7 years experience in a PM capacity

Additional Technical Skills

  • MS Project, MS Office Suite of products
  • Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Experience leading large and complex projects with significant technical components and/or ERP implementations, major upgrades, and/or deployments
  • Strong practical understanding of project management fundamentals, best practices and methodologies
  • Strong background in IT systems and processes, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Level Expert

Champions organization's project management methodology, tools, and techniques. Manages multiple high-risk, high-cost projects involving multiple stakeholders. Coaches others in open communication among project stakeholders. Monitors major projects for critical path and actual status versus planned. Consults on project planning and management of high-risk, high-impact projects. Monitors industry for fresh approaches and tools for project management. (Desired)

  • Experience working in an Agile delivery model is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
