About the Team


The New Programs team plays a key role in supporting product launches, engineering changes, and mass production activities by coordinating prototype manufacturing and delivery. Working closely with Corporate Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering Change Management, and cross-functional plant teams, the department ensures customer requirements are met on time and with the highest quality standards. The team operates in a fast-paced automotive environment where collaboration, planning, and customer focus are essential to success. Continuous compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards is a fundamental part of daily operations.


What you can look forward to as Prototype Coordinator:

  • Coordinate prototype orders received from Corporate Engineering and/or customers during product launches, engineering changes, and mass production phases.
  • Manage cross-functional activities required for prototype manufacturing, collection, assembly, shipment, and customer delivery.
  • Serve as the main communication interface between the Corporate Prototype Team, Sales, and multidisciplinary plant teams.
  • Support the implementation and tracking of engineering changes to ensure successful execution and launch readiness.
  • Prepare prototype quotations and support Purchasing with purchase orders for service parts.
  • Participate in regular meetings with corporate teams and provide status updates on prototype activities.
  • Generate monthly prototype sales reports and support the administration of new component inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company management systems, including Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, C-TPAT, OEA, and corporate standards.

Your Profile as Prototype Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the automotive industry and related operational or engineering areas.
  • Experience coordinating projects, prototypes, engineering changes, or launch activities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Advanced English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • High level of organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules when required by business needs.
