Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda
- Build cloud-native, serverless applications leveraging AWS services
- Integrate APIs with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB while ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity
- Manage database schema changes, version control, and migrations using Liquibase
- Develop automated testing, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices for application deployment
- Optimize API performance, database queries, and serverless workloads
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business stakeholders in Agile environments
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS API Gateway
- Experience with CloudWatch monitoring and logging
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Experience building highly available, enterprise-scale serverless applications
- AWS Certifications are a plus
