We are looking for an experienced Python Application Developer / FICO Blaze Developer with strong expertise in FICO Blaze, Core Java, Python, and JavaScript. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and developing business rules, deploying rule services, supporting testing activities, and working with modern application development and container platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze business requirements and write business rules using the FICO Blaze tool.
- Create and maintain rules using Eclipse IDE (Blaze IDE) and RMA.
- Work with common Blaze utilities including Decision Tables, Rule Sets, Rule Templates, and Decision Trees.
- Develop, test, and maintain rule services and related application components.
- Perform deployment of rule services as Java EJB/Web Services.
- Manage and support ADB deployments.
- Develop and maintain applications using Core Java and Java/J2EE technologies.
- Work with Spring Framework and RESTful Web Services.
- Use Python and JavaScript for application development and supporting automation where required.
- Support application integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Work with OpenShift container orchestration or Kubernetes-based environments.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Prepare and deliver build and unit-test deliverables.
- Support SIT, UAT, and other testing activities.
- Collaborate with development, testing, business, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with FICO Blaze BRE.
- 7 9 years of Java experience.
- 5+ years of Python and JavaScript experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in FICO Blaze rule creation and analysis.
- Experience with Blaze IDE / Eclipse IDE and RMA.
- Good knowledge of Decision Tables, Rule Sets, Templates, and Decision Trees.
- Hands-on experience with rule service deployment using Java EJB/Web Services.
- Knowledge of ADB deployment.
- Strong Core Java knowledge.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and RESTful Web Services.
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Build and unit-test deliverables.
- Support SIT/UAT and other testing activities.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of application and rule-service components.
- Provide production/deployment support and resolve technical issues.
