Python Developer

We are looking for a Python Developer with strong backend development expertise and experience in banking or financial services environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable APIs and enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Location: 6776, Ayala Avenue, Makati
Work Setup: Hybrid – 3x RTO per week (additional onsite days may be required based on business needs)
Schedule: Regular shift | Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of Python development experience
- Banking or financial industry background
- Strong experience with: Python, FastAPI and REST Framework
- Hands-on experience with: Docker and Docker Compose (multi-container environments)
- Experience working in enterprise environments, including: AWS, Coding standards and best practices, CI/CD workflows (CodePipeline, CodeDeploy), Code reviews and version control using Bitbucket
- Strong understanding of: RESTful API design principles, API versioning, Error handling and exception management
- Proficiency in databases: PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Familiarity with API security: JWT, OAuth2 and Secure coding practices
