Role - Python Developer
Location - onsite to any - Edison, NJ / Frisco, TX / Hartford, CT / Bellevue, WA
Role summary:
Upgrade and integrate third party Python packages resolving packaging compatibility build and automated test failures
Key responsibilities:
- Upgrade Python packages across supported runtime versions
- Resolve dependency API import packaging and test failures
- Update package metadata and internal build configuration
- Reconcile local patches and diagnose CIpresubmit failures
- Validate upgrades and maintain technical documentation
Required skills:
- Strong Python development and debugging
- pipPyPI wheels virtual environments and Python packaging
- pytest or equivalent testing frameworks
- Dependency resolution and version compatibility experience
- Git Linux scripting CICD and log analysis
- Experience maintaining or integrating opensource packages
- Preferred setuptools Poetry native C-extension builds Bazel Copybara monorepos security remediation
