Responsibilities
Translate business and technology requirements for new functionality, venues, and upgrades into technical delivery plans and changes across the low-latency trading stack.
Coordinate and manage technical changes across internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, stock exchanges, carriers, and client teams.
Partner with Network and Infrastructure teams to shape network architecture decisions that align to application and latency requirements.
Work with Production Services to provide third-level (Platinum) support, including investigation, incident resolution, and technical remediation for client-impacting issues.
Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues across all APAC regions.
Collaborate with global teams to develop, align, and socialize engineering best practices, standards, and repeatable delivery processes.
Engage with regional and global technology and business stakeholders to ensure solution alignment from design through delivery and support.
Your Expertise
Strong Python and Unix/Linux skills, including shell scripting.
Demonstrated FIX messaging experience in an electronic trading environment.
Familiarity with trading technology domains such as FPGA, low-latency networks, low-latency application development, and exchange protocol frameworks (e.g., OUCH, Arrowhead, HKEX CCCG & OCG).
Experience with equities trading platforms and the trading life cycle, including low-latency trading and co-location setup.
Experience across front-, middle-, and back-office systems.
Experience working with stock exchanges and/or managing trading and market data infrastructure.
Excellent communication skills to interface with business sponsors, clients, and third parties.
Ideally 5+ years of experience in a similar role focused on electronic trading within the finance sector.
