Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a capable and collaborative Python Fullstack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications across the full stack. This role emphasizes strong backend development in Python, proficient frontend work, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The successful candidate will contribute to architecture decisions, deliver reliable software, and support continuous delivery and modernization initiatives within the organization.
Software Requirements
Required Skills (Essential)
Proficiency in Python 3.x for backend development and data processing
Frontend experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js or Angular) and HTML5/CSS3
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
Version control experience with Git and collaboration platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
Build tools and CI/CD familiarity (Maven/Gradle not required if not applicable to Python; Jenkins or GitHub Actions preferred)
Understanding of SDLC/Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
Basic debugging, testing, and code-quality practices (unit/integration testing)
Preferred Skills
Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deploying applications in cloud environments
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Testing frameworks (pytest, unittest for Python; Jest for frontend) and knowledge of automated testing
Exposure to data visualization or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tooling

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications combining Python backend with modern frontend
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews
Implement and optimize application performance, security, and reliability
Contribute to architecture discussions and maintain alignment with enterprise standards
Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines; assist with automated testing and deployments
Maintain documentation, technical specifications, and deployment procedures
Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing and best practices

Industry experience in finance or other data-centric domains is beneficial but not mandatory
Alternative pathways: strong project experience, relevant certifications, or proven contributions to large-scale systems
Day-to-Day Activities
Develop and maintain backend services in Python and frontend components in JavaScript frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and plan iterations
Write and review code; perform unit and integration testing; ensure code quality
Participate in planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance and security
Contribute to architectural decisions and maintain deployment documentation
Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong track record in Python development and full-stack delivery
Certifications in Python, cloud platforms, or web development are a plus
