Java Full-Stack Developer | Spring/Hibernate/JSF + React + CI/CD

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Java Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. This role combines strong backend development in Java with modern frontend work, collaborating across cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The successful candidate will contribute to architecture decisions, drive feature delivery, and support CI/CD and cloud adoption to enable business growth and digital transformation.

Software Requirements

Required Skills (Essential)

  • Proficiency in Java and the Java EE platform, including Spring, Hibernate, and JSF

  • Frontend experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js or Angular) and HTML5/CSS3

  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs

  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)

  • Version control experience with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)

  • Experience with build and packaging tools (Maven or Gradle)

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines)

  • Understanding of SDLC/Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills

  • Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud deployment

  • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) for back-end; Jest/Enzyme for front-end

  • NoSQL databases and data warehousing concepts

  • Exposure to microservices architecture and API gateways

Overall Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and APIs in alignment with business requirements

  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code; participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards

  • Collaborate with product managers, UX teams, and backend developers to design integrated solutions

  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and security across environments

  • Contribute to architecture discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards

  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture, deployment procedures, and technical specifications

  • Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing and best practices

Experience Requirements

  • 4–9 years of experience in Java full-stack development

  • Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade applications with back-end and front-end work

  • Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to CI/CD initiatives

  • Cross-functional collaboration with product, QA, and operations teams

  • Domain experience in finance or banking is a plus but not mandatory

  • Alternative pathways: strong project experience, relevant certifications, or notable contributions to large-scale systems

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Develop and maintain back-end services in Java and front-end components in JavaScript frameworks

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and plan iterations

  • Write, review, and test code; perform unit and integration testing; ensure quality

  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance and security

  • Participate in planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Contribute to architecture discussions and deployment documentation

  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 4–9 years of hands-on Java full-stack development experience

  • Certifications in Java, web development, or cloud platforms are advantageous
