Job DescriptionThe Release Train Engineer facilitates and manages, Agile programme delivery, PI Planning, Dependency management, Release management, Risk management, Agile metrics.
Job Duties Coordinate and facilitate Agile Release Train events, including Programme Increment Planning, Iteration Planning, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt workshops. Lead the resolution of impediments, risks, and dependencies to ensure smooth delivery of software releases. Support teams in continuous improvement efforts and foster a culture of collaboration and high performance. Monitor and report on programme progress, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with Product Management, System Architects, and other key roles to align delivery with business objectives and priorities. Facilitate communication and transparency across all teams involved in the release train. Promote adherence to Agile methodologies and best practises throughout the release cycle. Ensure compliance with organisational governance and quality standards. Manage risks and elevate issues to ensure timely resolution. Champion Agile principles and support organisational change initiatives related to Agile transformation. Education A relevant bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related discipline. Certificate: SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Agilists. Experience 8–15+ years of experience. Experience within the banking and finance sector is preferred, with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements. Knowledge and Skills Tools/Technologies: Jira, Jira Align, Azure Dev Ops, Confluence, Miro Leadership/Management Skills: ART facilitation, executive stakeholder management, coaching, conflict resolution, organizational change management Domain Knowledge: SAFe, Lean-Agile delivery, Portfolio governance #J-18808-Ljbffr
