Ruby on Rails Developer
with a strong fintech background to join our client’s growing engineering team.
You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails. You’ll work on critical fintech systems handling payments, compliance, risk, or core banking functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and optimize robust Rails applications and APIs
Design and implement scalable backend solutions for financial products
Integrate with payment gateways, banking systems, and third‑party financial services
Ensure high security standards, data protection, and regulatory compliance (KYC, AML, PCI‑DSS)
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code
Collaborate with frontend, product, and compliance teams
Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance
Requirements:
4+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
Proven experience building fintech applications (payments, lending, trading, banking, or crypto)
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, and REST/GraphQL APIs
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Solid understanding of security best practices and fintech regulations
Experience with React or Vue.js is a strong plus
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
