We are seeking a hands-on Senior Software Developer / Technical Lead with a strong AI focus to lead engineering teams in building new applications and modernizing existing enterprise applications. This role will provide technical direction across architecture, engineering practices, application modernization, AI adoption, and software quality.
The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering and architecture experience with practical experience implementing Generative AI, LLM applications, AI agents, and agentic workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on technical leadership for software engineering and AI-focused delivery teams.
- Establish technical direction across architecture, engineering practices, modernization strategies, AI adoption patterns, and quality standards.
- Lead architecture and design decisions for modern enterprise applications and AI-enabled solutions.
- Design and implement cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and modern user experiences.
- Design and develop fit-for-purpose AI agents and agentic workflows when they provide meaningful business or technical value.
- Work with frameworks and patterns such as LangGraph, A2A, MCP-enabled tools, or comparable agentic AI technologies.
- Design AI agents capable of interacting with enterprise tools, repositories, documentation, tickets, CI/CD pipelines, runtime telemetry, and application data.
- Develop and integrate LLM-powered applications using appropriate prompting, retrieval, tool calling, and evaluation techniques.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and integrate vector databases where appropriate.
- Establish approaches for LLM application testing, evaluation, observability, and quality assurance.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Software Developer, Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar senior engineering role.
- Demonstrated experience leading software development teams through architecture, technical planning, development, code review, and delivery.
- Strong hands-on programming experience with at least one modern language such as:
- Java
- Python
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- C#
- Go
- Or comparable modern programming technologies.
- Experience modernizing legacy and enterprise applications, including mainframe, Fortran, J2EE, ASP, monolithic, or similar application estates.
- Strong experience architecting cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Practical experience with Generative AI, LLM applications, AI agents, or agentic workflows.
- Experience designing agents that interact with enterprise tools, repositories, documentation, tickets, CI/CD pipelines, telemetry, or application data.
- Strong understanding of RAG, vector databases, tool calling, prompt engineering, and LLM application development.
- Experience with AI application evaluation, testing, observability, or quality frameworks.
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, architecture patterns, CI/CD, testing, and application lifecycle management.
- Excellent technical communication, mentoring, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
