Software Engineer for AI Code Evaluation Job at SaidGig in United States
Software Engineers leverage their expertise to support AI research through flexible, project-based work.
This role involves evaluating AI-generated code and technical content, providing structured feedback, and enhancing AI’s understanding of programming tasks, system design, and engineering best practices.
Unlike traditional full-time positions, this opportunity allows you to work independently and alongside your primary employment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design job-related coding questions and review AI-generated responses for correctness, efficiency, clarity, and alignment with real-world engineering practices.
* Provide structured feedback based on your software engineering experience.
* Work independently in a remote and asynchronous environment.
* Complete a coding assessment as part of the selection process.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of professional software engineering experience (internships excluded).
* Strong coding skills in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Go, etc.).
* Experience building and debugging production-level code.
* Ability to work independently and follow detailed technical guidelines.
* Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Work Terms
* This is a part-time, project-based role with flexible hours and no minimum commitment.
* Placement into a project will depend on project availability.
Compensation
Up to $90/hr (depending on the project).
Eligibility
F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify for projects.
- Work with your Designated School Official to determine eligibility.
Note that STEM OPT is not supported.
