ACTIVE TS/SCI REQUIRED for this POSITION! TapHere is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Software Engineer, DevOps to join our dynamic team in supporting space domain mission applications. The selected candidate provides continuous support for CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance, automated testing, deployment management, and container scanning and compliance, requiring sustained involvement throughout the program lifecycle.
Experience Required- Ensure secure and reliable delivery workflows, respond to ongoing pipeline and deployment issues, and maintain compliance with customer framework and security requirements
- Ongoing support to maintain monitoring and logging infrastructure and to implement iterative improvements to automation and integration processes
- Research, design, and development of software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test of software products
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target application
- Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system
- Contribute to determining, estimating, and validating the cost and scope of software efforts to ensure software performed meets program cost, schedule, and technical constraints
Eligibility Criteria
- Active TS SCI
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Skills Required
- Proficient knowledge of software engineering and practical knowledge of project management
- Capable of some project/process management
- Strong communication skills
- Shows initiative to recommend enhancements to systems and processes and achieve operational targets
- Proficient with development of software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation
