Java Back‑End Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Java Back-End Software Engineer to help us build, scale, and support high-performing systems that serve real users and real business needs.

What You’ll Be Building Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable back-end services Build and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions Develop cloud-native applications running on AWS and Kubernetes Contribute to microservices, domain-driven, and event-driven architectures The Essentials Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate / NCV) 6+ years of back-end software development experience Proven experience building and supporting production-grade systems Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise Experience with SQL and No SQL databases Cloud platform experience (AWS is a bonus!) Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures Exposure to Docker, containers, and Kubernetes Nice to Have Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar You’ll Fit Right In If You’re Comfortable With Java & Spring Boot ; REST APIs ; AWS Kubernetes ; SQL & No SQL Databases ; Git & Version Control ; Testing & Automation Design Patterns ; Clean Architecture ; Data Structures & Algorithms
