The project and the team

We seek a creative back-end engineer to join our team, build a user-facing application in the networking area, and drive it to wide market adoption. The team comprises the Engineering Manager, UX designers, back-end, front-end, and network engineers.

Other things to know:

• We are a self-sufficient team

• Our point of contact is a Product Owner on the client's side

• The team is located in Poland

• The client's representatives are located on the East and West coasts of the US and in Europe

• We use the SCRUM framework

We work on multiple interesting projects at the same time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project if we see that your competencies and profile are well-suited for it.

Your role

As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:

• Direct the evolution of our microservices execution architecture

• Architect and maintain our decoupled worker framework

• Standardize continuous integration matrices across multiple functional engineering environments and teams

• Drive the safe orchestration of advanced text, code, and scaffolding tools

• Develop and implement new features, as well as enhance and optimize existing functionalities

• Partner with product owners to translate strategic objectives into actionable backlog items.

• Formulate and enforce rigorous testing methodologies

Do we have a match?

As a Senior Software Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience

• Proficiency in Python

• Proficiency with Kubernetes at Scale

• Knowledge of other programming language at an intermediate level

• Competence in Linux

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases

• Experience in developing software solutions in network or security areas, understanding of the domain

• Practical application of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipeline development

• Experience in integrating external tools with a cloud-hosted platform

• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher

Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate:

• Demonstrated expertise in Google Cloud Platform services

• Experience deploying AI abstraction layers or proxy clients

• Proven ability to effectively collaborate within distributed teams
