What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript
Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and high-quality code
Build scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with architectural standards and technology strategy
Develop and maintain reusable components and common assets
Write unit tests and support defect-free software delivery
Support production issues, including root-cause analysis and troubleshooting
Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices
Evaluate technologies and recommend improvements to processes and systems
Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions
Contribute to development frameworks, standards, and operational programs
Recommend and automate approaches to improve efficiency and streamline processes
Mentor team members and contribute to communities of practice
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Support project deliverables and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
Strong experience with React and modern frontend development
Exceptional proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Experience with TypeScript
Experience with React frameworks and libraries such as: TanStack Query, React Router, Zustand, Redux, Atom or similar state management libraries
Exposure to DevOps practices and modern CI/CD pipelines
Experience working within large financial institutions or highly regulated industries
Experience mentoring developers and contributing to communities of practice
Knowledge of architecture patterns and digital transformation initiatives
Passion for staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends
English level
Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate
Work Type: Hybrid (2 days in office)
Legal & Hiring Information
Compensation Transparency: The expected compensation range for this role is $60-78/hr CAD, with eligibility for commission, bonus, or other incentive compensation where applicable. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location within Canada, and business needs.
