Job Description

Your Opportunity:

In this role, you will be designing, building and supporting critical systems that underpin Cuscal’s payments platforms. You will work across end-to-end engineering, from developing scalable applications to supporting production systems that process high-volume, real-time transactions.

This is a hands-on, full-stack role suited to someone who thrives in a small, high-impact team and is comfortable owning outcomes across the full software lifecycle.

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining scalable applications across front-end, middleware and backend layers
  • Contributing to portal development with exposure to platforms such as Liferay or similar technologies
  • Building and supporting microservices and integrations aligned with enterprise architecture standards
  • Participating in CI/CD practices and contribute to automation and continuous improvement
  • Supporting production systems, including participation in a rostered on-call support model
  • Conducting testing across unit, integration and functional levels to ensure quality delivery
  • Troubleshooting and resolve production issues to maintain system performance and reliability

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • Solid full stack, full cycle engineering experience
  • Strong experience in modern front-end frameworks with React or Angular
  • Backend development experience with Node.js
  • Experience working with cloud technologies, ideally AWS
  • Exposure to CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices
  • Understanding of databases and system integrations
  • Comfortable working across development, testing and production support
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
