SQL Server DBA:
Scope of Work (Database Health Check):
- Perform a comprehensive health check of Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Assess database performance, configuration, and overall system health.
- Review database integrity, storage utilization, and capacity.
- Evaluate backup, restore, and disaster recovery configurations.
- Analyze indexing, query performance, and maintenance plans.
- Check database security, user access, and permissions.
- Review SQL Server logs, error logs, and SQL Agent jobs.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and potential risks.
- Validate database best practices and compliance with Microsoft recommendations.
- Provide a health check report with findings, risk assessment, and prioritized recommendations for optimization and remediation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database security.
- Experience conducting SQL Server health assessments and performance diagnostics.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Contract Duration: 7 calendar days (Health Check and Assessment only)
