Position - Sr. Python Developer - Immediate joiners required - Location - Pune (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

The Senior Python Developer will be responsible for building scalable automation solutions, developing reusable scripts and frameworks, integrating systems through APIs, and improving operational efficiency through intelligent automation. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, DevOps teams, QA teams, and solution architects to deliver high-quality automation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation solutions and applications.

* Build reusable automation frameworks, scripts, and utilities for enterprise processes.

* Develop integrations with APIs, databases, cloud services, and third-party applications.

* Automate repetitive business and operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

* Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

* Develop and optimize backend services, schedulers, and automation workflows.

* Implement logging, monitoring, exception handling, and performance optimization.

* Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment automation.

* Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.

* Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

* Ensure coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices are followed.

* Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Required Skills:

* Strong experience in Python development with 6–8 years of hands-on experience.

* Expertise in Python libraries and frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, Django, Pandas, Requests, Selenium, or PyTest.

* Strong knowledge of automation scripting and workflow automation.

* Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and API integrations.

* Good understanding of SQL and databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.

* Experience with version control tools such as Git.

* Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

* working experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

* Working experience in AWS Cloud environment.

* Have hands on experience of code deployment, CI/CD pipeline creation and trouble shooting.

* Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

* Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with RPA tools or intelligent automation platforms.

* Experience with scheduling/orchestration tools such as Airflow or Cron.

* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

* Exposure to AI based automation solutions is a plus.

Educational Qualification:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

This position will focus on translating applications from legacy solutions to web-based solutions using web framework and technology. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. Master’s Degree preferred. • At least 4 years’ experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. • At least 5 years’ experience in Service Oriented Architecture/Service integration with Web Services, REST and security integration. Skills / Experience / Responsibilities • Design, develop and implement complex solutions based on Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5+ using C#, ASP.NET and ADO.Net. • Will work with internal stakeholders to learn the business processes, operating systems, and application architectures in order to ensure that solutions fit the current or proposed architectural environment. • Translate applications requirements into web-based solutions using the recommended frameworks and technology. • Design and develop reusable components, accelerators and frameworks. • Assist in the system integration of components. • Implement Test Driven Development frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, etc.). • Implement Design Pattern (Singleton, Factory and ASP.NET MVC). • Implement Data Structures. • Assist in translating customer service, marketing & financial business function needs into digitization and automation of technical solutions aligned with organizational goals and strategies. • Be a strong team player and effectively participate in projects and daily operational activities
