1st Shift Electronic Assembler
Our client, a leading manufacturer supporting the aviation industry, is seeking a 1st Shift Electronic Assembler to join their team. As a 1st Shift Electronic Assembler, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality in-flight entertainment products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: 1st Shift Electronic Assembler
Location: Lake Forest, CA
Pay Range: $23/hr
Shift: 1st Shift from 6am-2:30pm
What's the Job?
- Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Follow established methods and sequence of operations in wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
- Build cable, harnessing, and mechanical assemblies, ensuring proper positioning and securing of parts.
- Perform initial tests to check for faults, continuity, and proper operation of assembled units.
- Assist engineers with building breadboards and making sheet metal modifications as needed.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly, with emphasis on cable/harness rework and electronic soldering.
- Ability to read schematic diagrams and blueprints accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, soldering irons, and basic machining equipment.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive motions including bending and twisting.
