We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Intern to join a professional engineering team in Sydney. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real engineering projects while helping you develop technical skills and understand Australian engineering practices and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with structural design and engineering calculations
- Support the preparation of technical drawings and documentation
- Assist with structural analysis of buildings and infrastructure
- Review plans, specifications, and engineering documentation
- Support engineers with project coordination and design reviews
- Assist with site inspections and technical reporting when required
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Understanding of structural engineering principles
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SpaceGass, or similar software is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
