Job Purpose
The System Analyst / Analyst Programmer will support the Finance Department in Hong Kong and Shenzhen by maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Finance system. The role ensures system stability, supports finance operations, drives process automation, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to improve financial workflows and reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first-line support for Microsoft D365 F&O system issues across Hong Kong and Shenzhen offices
Provide ongoing application support for user inquiries, system maintenance for data integrity and resolve troubleshoot issues
Gather and understand user requirements from Finance team and recommend suitable system solutions to streamline finance processes
Coordinate with IT/external vendors for bug fixes, system enhancements and version upgrades
Perform system testing, support UAT, and prepare system documentation
Support in system data integration and program development between D365 and other business applications
Develop and maintain D365-built in SSRS reports and Power BI
Provide user training and SOPs to promote best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
- Hands-on experience and good understanding of Microsoft D365 F&O workflows and development (X++) is a must
- 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in finance systems support or basic accounting knowledge is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- A proactive team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Familiar with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) and basic reporting tools
Work Location
- Occasional travel between Hong Kong and Shenzhen
